These four Monitorimi versions address different monitoring needs. Features, availability and support arrangements must be confirmed for the selected device and service.
Support for agreed family and school safety routines
Monitorimi Kid is intended for children and the parents, guardians and authorised school staff who support them. Its focus is an agreed safety routine that respects the child’s age, needs and privacy.
Depending on the selected model and service, options may include GPS location, an SOS request and alerts when a device enters or leaves an agreed area. These tools may help a parent check an expected arrival or help a designated adult respond when a child asks for assistance. For school journeys or outings, the family and school should agree who receives information and who acts on an alert.
Limits and safeguards
Location information can be delayed or unavailable. An area alert does not establish that a child is in danger, and an SOS request does not guarantee a response. The device cannot replace adult supervision, safeguarding procedures or an emergency plan.
How Assistive Center can help
Assistive Center can help families compare these options, consider whether a child can comfortably use the controls, and identify questions about access, privacy and responsibilities. Before choosing, discuss the intended use with the child in an age-appropriate way and confirm what the specific model and service actually provide.
Assistive Center presents products and services from related companies as part of its educational work. Ask who supplies each option and how they are connected to AC.
